Books to stir your imagination, entertain, make you think, and inspire
My story
I’m a writer and a reader who loves stories, whether they are told to me by individuals, in books, movies, or series, or by the characters who decide I might do a good job of sharing theirs. I write primarily novels, but have experimented with short fiction, haiku, and children’s picture books. I love the unexpected, the mysterious, a beautiful or dramatic setting, friendship, kindness, decency, and courage. And hope in dark times. If these themes strike a chord with you, I hope you might enjoy my work and find it lightens your day.
Also, I love books. I love to hold them, read them, smell them, and design them. Most of my books can be purchased online but some, collectibles, I publish with a short run printer and hand sell. The Listener, a fairy tale for adults, is in that category.
The second title in my SFF trilogy, The Sovereign Lands of Tatsu, is now available in paperback and Kindle.
In the exotic, hostile lands of Tatsu, former Earthling Chance Dubois and his companions, Luna and Pollux, continue their quest to solve the riddles that drive them: Why is the birth rate inexorably declining? What was the world like before The Fall, a thousand years ago? Which unsettling legends are nothing but myth … and which are only too incontrovertibly real? While there, an unexpected addition to their company radically alters Chance’s most fundamental conceptions. And as a ruthless god from Winter’s Night hunts them, their journey takes a wild turn, drawing them closer to the mysterious place where it all began—and ended: The Lost Realm of Qua.
The Kingdom of Winter’s Night, Book I in my trilogy, The Chronicles of Dunae, is now available in paperback and Kindle.
Once the trilogy is published on Amazon, I hope to work with IngramSpark to get the title into bricks-and-mortar bookstores. Book III is now under production.
